Now we need someone to share our story with the rest of the world We are looking for a proven Director of Marketing who is agile, creative, and effective problem solver, driven to develop a deep understanding of our market, prospective clients, and their buying journey. As ITProTV's first Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for building our marketing function from the ground up and managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across all marketing channels. You will articulate a clear, consistent, and creative value proposition for our target markets, while acting as the linchpin between our sales and product teams. You will have the opportunity to lead functional teams across the business to develop compelling go-to-market initiatives and sales enablement programs, while strengthening our product positioning and messaging. The ideal candidate is a data driven marketer and uses an iterative, testing driven approach to generate and then convert leads. You understand more than just the initial close, and know how to think about the relationship with the customer and LTV. The Role We're looking for someone who has experience scaling an enterprise SaaS company to $100M+ in recurring revenue with a proven playbook they can bring to the team. Grow the number of qualified companies/leads trialing the ITProTV product by 5x in the next three years. Drive pipeline and positive lead velocity that maps to our monthly and quarterly sales objectives Drive high-impact programs that deliver leads and maximize lead conversion through data-driven recommendations for leadership. Develop a scalable IT Field Marketing program: Clearly organize, measure and communicate events scheduling (tradeshows, webinars, PR etc). Ensure field activities effectively generate pipeline. Drive the strategy and messaging framework for the marketing materials and website: be the voice of the product, craft the narrative that brings our platform to life. Leverage ITProTV's proprietary video content to develop a best-in-class marketing library and position ITProTV as an industry thought leader. Lead and grow a small team of top notch marketers with expertise in content marketing, PR, partner/marketplace marketing, demand generation, and marketing automation/operations. Collaborate with talented sales people, developers, designers and growth product managers to ensure leads are converting to our targets as we scale efforts. Identify industry and technology trends, the competitive landscape and customer / prospect feedback to secure and retain a winning market position. Work with Product and Customer Experience teams to influence the product roadmap towards the needs of growth The Requirements 12+ years of experience as a senior marketing leader in the tech industry; an expert in B2B SaaS marketing strategy focused on demand generation Entrepreneurial leader who understands how to capture awareness and advantage for the product line You should be a roll-up-the sleeves/hands-on executive who loves building things from scratch and have a desire to do it again Experience with marketing reporting and dashboard development, analysis and delivery-including using data from multiple sources. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus. Data is part of your DNA. You know how to get it, analyze it and make decisions on it Proven experience in some combination of Social Media & Content strategy, PR & Comms, SEO/SEM, Analytics and Lead Generation/Conversion A creative, witty thinker who paints a story with just a few words, grasping technical capabilities and translating them into benefits Excellent communication skills. You seek out constructive criticism and feedback as a natural part of your process. Ability to work cross functionally, build relationships, and influence executives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment A bias towards action, getting feedback from customers, measurement and iteration Excellent prioritization skills Must be resourceful and have initiative to resolve problems Interest in the innovation industry is required; Passion in the innovation industry a plus BA/BS required. Master's preferred.
