The role involves phone, face-to-face, and social media business development and account management of small to medium businesses and corporate companies. The position requires a consultative approach to selling and therefore, you will be taking on the role of a Learning Solutions Representative. A natural wit and excellent phone presence are a necessity. We're looking for someone to take on the responsibility for qualifying and cold calling both traditional business and technically oriented clients. Finding, developing, and closing your deals will give you a chance to reap all of the benefits. Many of our current top performers have come from non-sales backgrounds and now, after 2 years, are earning over $100k per year!Duties required of the position:Generating new business and nurturing repeat businessContinually maintain and grow sales pipelineBuild and present learning solutionsExcellent English, both oral and written. Ability to tailor your sales message to C-level executives, system administrators, and anyone in-betweenAdjust/develop content of sales presentations by studying the customer needs and desired outcome.Develop and submit activity and results reports; such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and attending product factory training.Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.Computer Savvy (working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and LinkedIn)Knowledge of VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Adobe Products, and Office Applications Training preferred2-4 years of Post-Secondary Education or TrainingWould Be Nice:A natural interest in technology in your spare timeDegree associated with Mathematics/ Business/ BankingExperience in stand-up comedy, improv, or public speaking (seriously, it helps!)The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will be driven, hard-working, passionate individual.
