THE HIRED CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING
:Coordinates the provision of labor exchange services to eligible persons including job search information assistance, labor market information, placement and job fair notices, state and federal guidance.
:Prepares and coordinates the mass marketing of job seeker information and services available through Career Centers.
:Maintains and develops contacts with resources within community groups and local organizations engaged in providing job placement assistance.
:Coordinates, analyze and reviews activities of assigned associates.
:Facilitates input and feedback from associates.
:Assists Center Director with the day:to:day activities of the office which includes handling complaints from customers, employers, and staff.
:Responsible for providing training, education, career counseling/case management and assessments to a broad range of customers.
:Provides individualized and/or group labor exchange services to eligible persons including intake and assessment, counseling, testing, job search assistance, referral and placement, Reemployment Assistance (RA) reemployment services and continued claims services.
:Assists customers in deciding vocational goals and developing employability plans for entrance into employment.
:Interviews and assesses customers for job readiness through aptitudes, interests, personal characteristics, education and work history.
:Receives and processes job orders as appropriate, coding each opening by occupation and industry and file search job orders for qualified applicants adhering to veterans pre
