Ensures the career centerA?s recruitment presences and employment branding efforts brings greater visibility and engagement for all constituents for recruitment purposes. Develops and implements employment branding strategies to target University candidates. Acts as liaison with IT and marketing departments to provide content for print and web materials for employer relations. The incumbent will increase awareness of employment opportunities available through the Center, develop programs and activities to increase student and alumni utilization of the recruitment services. (40) 2. Initiates, develops, and maintains professional relationships with employers to develop employment and career education opportunities for UF candidates. Participates in the planning and execution of the Career Resource CenterA?s employer engagement outreach plan to increase employment connections for University candidates. Conducts consultations with employers to increase their participation in recruitment activities and promote the University community. (10) 3. Serves as the primary manager of our Gator CareerLink (the online employment database system). Ensures database quality, integrity, and tracking methods are accurate for reporting and University compliance to support the Career CenterA?s mission. Works collaboratively with all aspects of the Center to evaluate and disseminate system information to appropriate people; makes recommendations to improve CenterA?s services and efficiencies based on system usage. Manages and coordinates the implementation of system updates, staff trainings and launching of new system enhancements. (30) 4. Serves as the primary career liaison for students from one or more colleges on campus. Provides individual and group career coaching to assist individual career development needs including topics, such as networking, interviewing skills, job search strategies and resume preparation. Plans and executes numerous campus:wide career development seminars, workshops, and classroom sessions to educate students through the career planning process; including, but not limited to preparing for career fairs, conducting internship and job search, the internet job search and other classroom presentations by faculty invitation. (20) Advertised Salary: 47, Minimum Requirements: Masters degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience in the field of outreach, marketing/branding, career services, database management, sales, development or human resources. Seeking candidates with knowledge of career services, branding and/or marketing, outreach strategies, community engagement, business development, and experience working with diverse populations. Skilled in computer applications and working with databases. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of team essential. Must have skills in advising, effective oral and written communications, research and analysis, data quality management, interpersonal interaction, supervision, high levels of customer service, attention to details, program planning, and management. A working knowledge of computers and word processing and database management is essential to this unique environment.
