This position is primarily responsible for supporting the companyA?s U.S. computer network and technology systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for monitoring of security and disaster recovery initiatives. Duties will include installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software systems, resolving computer and telephone functionality and connectivity problems, and providing technical assistance to system users. This position maintains quality service by enforcing organization standards and displays both professional and technical knowledge in providing the duties herein. As an important part of quality service, the position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through actions and communications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application, operating system, and network spect and maintain servers and LAN/WAN environment for U.S. stall and maintain workstations, cabling, peripherals and other network hardware.Assist with research, assessment, and implementation of system upgrades. Perform software and hardware installations and verify correct operation.Manage appropriate licensing assignments for company stall and administer phone system endpoints and extensions.Create and delete user accounts and assign permissions as needed.Work with the management team in the development and maintenance of Naylor information systems.Document equipment deployments and changes to computer configurations.Identify training needs and develop help documents for various programs and procedures.Maintain LAN/WAN security standards to ensure network performance.Monitor and execute tape backups of servers and storage systems.Maintain current antivirus and spyware prevention software. Triage urgent and emergent situations in the absence of the senior administrator and/or IT management personnel.Work with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding broken equipment or defective products.This position requires a diploma or degree in computer science technology or similar field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Microsoft Server and Systems environment OR A combination of equivalent years of college:level or professional training and experience AND relevant technology certification(s). Qualified candidates should also have:Ability to provide customer service support to users by answering questions in accessible language.Demonstrated ability working in a multi:site network environment.High level of technical skillsMicrosoft, Citrix, CompTIA, Cisco Certifications Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment.
