Job Summary The Technical Business Analyst works with Product Management to define solutions for required product features, eliciting and documenting requirements, performing required impact/workflow analysis (use cases, UML diagramming, etc.) and designing the user interface. The Technical Business Analyst will work within Agile Scrum teams acting as the Product Owner within the Agile Scrum process, addressing the day-to-day needs of the development team around requirements. The Technical Business Analyst paints the vision of the feature for the team and breaks down the work into user stories, guiding the Software Engineers and QA analysts to ensure deliverables meet the required business needs. The Technical Business Analyst serves as a source of knowledge for other departments in the company regarding Greenway's product designs and our users' needs. An Associate Technical Business Analyst will assist in the team responsibilities above, focusing on updates to existing functionality/deliverables. Associate BA will perform those duties with minimal supervision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Participate in requirement gathering sessions Write clear and concise user stories Ability to understand basic UML diagrams Document requirements and system behaviors by developing simple use case scenarios Ability to produce low-fidelity wireframes to help communicate changes Ability to update/create page spec documentation with supervision Experience Education BA/BS or equivalent work experience Minimum Qualifications 0-2 years of business analyst experience Skills/Knowledge Ability to perform demonstrations within team Ability to work well within a team; collaborating with others to find the best solution for the issue. Demonstrate strong analytical skills, independent problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Able to work under the established software development process Ability to apply the basic understanding of medical office workflow as it relates to current project Work Environment/Physical Demands Office environment Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment
