We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide coordination and support of the general day to day administrative, clerical and operational tasks related to the successful management of the department. The Administrative Assistant must be an organized and highly motivated team-player, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate written and verbally in a professional, diplomatic, and empathetic manner in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Temporary Gainesville, FL Schedule: FT Please email resumes to Lou Carlton- [Click Here to Email Your Resume] Working hours: M-F Skills: RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet and assist clients and staff visitors to the department, as well as manage the department waiting area environment Manage both visitors and incoming phone calls Assist with appropriate paperwork and routine administrative issues related to office functions, and maintain accurate databases Prepare special reports, summaries, and/or replies to inquiries by compiling data and statistics from various departmental resources Maintain current flyers, brochures, and general information Assist with weekly workshops Assist with the development, management and maintenance of departmental websites Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree Four (4) years of closely related work experience OR a combination of completed education and/or related work experience Experience in a higher education setting is preferred. Proactive problem solver Flexible and accurate Proficient computer skills using the Microsoft Suite of Office Applications
